Are used A/C compressors reliable?
Used A/C compressors from low-kilometre donor vehicles are reliable, but they are sealed units that wear with use. For donors over 200,000 km, a new aftermarket compressor is often better value. Always replace the receiver-drier and flush the system when fitting any used compressor.
